I’ve been called a "190-pound comedy circus with a mustache," and while I might not agree with the weight (I’m pretty sure I’m more like 180), I’ve spent my life creating laughs, moments, and memorable characters you won’t forget.
Born into a world of humor, I’ve been making people laugh since day one. From UCLA to UC Davis, I took a winding path that eventually led me to comedy stages across the country. It was the ‘70s when I really found my stride at the Comedy Store, hanging out with some of the best comedians who helped ignite the Comedy Boom. Since then, I’ve appeared on TV shows like The Simpsons, Full House, Hollywood Squares, and America’s Funniest People—to name a few—and created iconic characters like Dimples The Cow and Babyman.
In addition to stand-up and sketch comedy, I’m also the co-author of the Letters From A Nut series (written under the pseudonym Ted L. Nancy) and the author of On Hold, a collection of hilarious musings created during the painfully long "on hold" moments we’ve all endured. When I’m not on stage or in front of the camera, you’ll find me bringing even more laughs through my albums, books, and shows, proving that I’m always working to keep you entertained in unexpected ways.
